Thread: [Help Plz] Joomla and Cloaking

Hey all,

Long story made short, I have an affiliate website with targeted traffic but I'm getting few conversions making me believe that people are taking out my affiliate ID. The site has alot of links going out to different vendors so something manual is not gonna cut it.

Is there a way to cloak links in Joomla (preferably free )

Ideally I would like the links to look something like

http://mysite.com/vendorname/product

The product part is already done via naming the article correctly and SEF.

Hmm, thanks for the effort but doesn't do anything I need.

Just makes a anchor text link which I can do myself. The affiliate link is still shown in the status bar of my browser. The link I put above was just an example of what I would like the link to look like.
Also the website would require me to do that for each and every link, that would take forever for me to do.

I need a extension or script to change the look of all my outgoing links, so instead of having a messy affiliate URL it would look like the example I provided above.
